NocTel is aware of an issue affecting inbound calls originating from the provider Frontier to numbers in the 828 area code. Frontier customers dialing phone numbers in the 828 area code receive a fast busy tone.
The issue is originating from Frontier's network or its interconnection with the wider national telephone network. NocTel customers receiving notices from a Frontier caller who is unable to reach their NocTel number should direct the caller to Frontier's support team at 800.921.8101.
